This was a great spot to meet up with our son who is travel nursing in West Virginia and whose apartment is too small for us to stay together there. There are plenty of things to do within a short drive. We antique shopped and hiked at very nice, nearby Audra State Park. The house was comfortable for our two-couples' needs. It was clean with a supply of linens, coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. The deck overlooking the river is across the street, which wasn't readily obvious to me in the description (could just be me). The deck appears to be shared with other cabins on the road. Although I had no need to contact the owners directly for anything, their communication was excellent from booking to reservation end. The worst I can say about it is that I could have used a larger skillet and a couple mixing bowls . . . not bad!

It was a great stay! The internet only worked for about 1/4 the time (but we knew it was unreliable ahead of time), which was really the only downside. Hosts communicated well and were available if needed. The hot tub was great in the evenings!

Our stay was incredible! We booked a property down the road but when checking in, the hot tub had a leak and the property manager proactively reached out to let us know and offered to upgrade us to an even larger, better home and price matched it! Overly communicative(in a good way), more than accommodating of our stay and truly one of the best experiences we’ve had with AirBnB. The home is beautiful, clean, well-kept, hot tub is beautiful and hot, the beds were sooo comfortable and it was just an incredible weekend away from the city. THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING STAY!
