We loved the Budle Bolthole! The place was spotless, we had everything we needed and more, we felt at home straight away and the welcome pack was excellent and very generous. Genevieve was a lovely and friendly host! She kept in touch with full details of how to access the property and supplied us with loads of useful local information too. We were able to check in earlier than anticipated and check out was also flexible which we greatly appreciated. A wonderful place in a beautiful location, we had a great time and would highly recommend this property and host.

If you are lucky enough to have the chance of staying in Genevieve's beautiful apartment you should grab it with both hands immediately. The apartment is luxuriously appointed and filled with thoughtful touches such as binoculars and bird watching books and lots of throws for chilly evenings. The location is stunning and there is always something to see no matter what the weather. There is so much to do locally and the surrounds. Genevieve is a superb host, friendly, responsive and goes above and beyond to make her guests happy. We had one of our best holidays and will definitely be back.

The apartment is lovely - just as it looks in the photographs. You would probably need a car as it’s a few minutes drive from Bamburgh. The apartment is very well equipped and has lots of cooking utensils. Lovely welcome pack. 2 of the bedrooms have televisions which was great for our grandsons playing their x-box. Very comfortable beds. Due to the weather didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor seating area which overlooks the bay. You can’t get direct access to the bay as it’s a protected area but there’s lots of birds which you can watch with the binoculars provided in the apartment. Probably one of the best self-catering apartments we’ve stayed in.

We stayed at Genevieve’s beautiful flat for 3 nights and had a lovely time. The flat is tastefully decorated and has a fully equipped kitchen, with a dinning and living room perfect for our group of 6. The beds were very comfortable, and the view was stunning! We really appreciated the binoculars to look at the birds from the window. We followed some of Genevieve’s recommendations and went for lovely walks to the beach nearby and actually walked to Bamburgh on a beautiful and sunny day. Besides those recommendations, we had clear instructions for everything which I highly appreciate. The location is perfect to visit Holy Island and the surrounding areas, and parking was very accessible. The welcome basket was superb! Overall a great place and great host, who was super responsive when we needed her to. 10/10 Would definitely return!

A fantastic family stay in Genevieve’s apartment. The location is beautiful and Bamburgh is nearby with a choice of restaurants and activities. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Genevieve was extremely helpful with check in information , local recommendations and speedy responses. I would highly recommend this property and we hope to visit again one day.
