Nestled between the jungle & the sea where the mountainside meets the Pacific coast offering a spectacular wide open ocean view cradled by lush nature that grants you peace and serenity, yet keeps you in a centrally-located place. A surfer’s paradise as the point break is easily viewed! The beach is a short trip crossing the Pacific Coast highway about a quarter mile and about 1.5 km away from downtown Dominical which offers boutique style organic & vegan stores, restaurants, bars and cafés. The Villa is located on the second floor and is an open concept studio that offers a breathtaking 180 degree view of the ocean! There are 2 double size beds, a fully equipped kitchen, super powerful NEW 24,000 BTU AIR CONDITIONER, high speed fiber optic internet/WiFi and a private bathroom with HOT WATER. The living area is bright due to its wall-to-wall floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors that offer an indoor-outdoor flow onto a covered spacious balcony. The glass doors are tinted to provide privacy and cooling within the Villa. On the balcony you will find 4 chairs to relax in while enjoying the view of the toucans, Scarlet macaws, monkeys and other exotic wildlife or retire in a hanging swing nest while reading your favorite book. You can also enjoy spectacular sunset views and enjoy a romantic dinner on the terrace. On the main floor patio area you can dip in the pool, relax on the pool lounge chairs or take a nap on a full size hammock. A gas barbecue grill and concrete table with benches are also available for outdoor dining. The property lies on an acre hillside land that displays a beautiful landscape of different tropical palms, trees and plants.

Lissette et David nous ont tres bien accueilli avec de nombreuses recommandations. Ils ont été très disponibles et réactifs tout au long de notre séjour. Et que dire de la vue... elle est époustouflante, on ne s'en lasse pas ! 😍

Our stay at Villa Del Mar was nothing short of amazing and the highlight of our ten day trip in Costa Rica. We met with our hosts Lissette and David in person and wow- they are incredible and super lovely. Their hospitality was unmatched. They were extremely kind, welcoming, helpful, and accessible. Their guide book was on point! They made sure our stay was amazing and that we felt safe and secure. The villa itself is beyond gorgeous, clean, and the view is picturesque (photos don’t do it justice). We had all amenities needed and felt comfortable like we were at home. Their pool was extremely refreshing after a long day of doing activities. Their place is best accessed by 4x4 vehicle. Parking was always available. We highly recommend Villa Del Mar and would definitely come back in the future!

Die Unterkunft ist super. Vom Balkon sowie vom Pool hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf das Meer sowie den Sonnenuntergang. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet mit allem, was man irgendwie gebrauchen kann. Beim Pool gibt es einen Gasgrill. Die Klimaanlage arbeitet super. Überall gibt es Mückennetze. Lissette und David sind eunderbare, sehr freundliche und herzliche Gastgeber. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und hatten viele nette Gesprache. Die Unterkunft ist in der Trockenzeit gut mit einem SUV OHNE Allrad erreichbar. Etwas geübt sollte man aber schon am Steuer sein. Fazit: Eine großartige Unterkunft mit dem besten Ausblick.

What a slice of paradise! Lisette and David were there to welcome us to their beautiful place after providing clear and easy instructions on how to access the property. The view is breathtaking, the apartment has everything you need, and the pool area is great for cooling off and admiring the view. Lisette and David were incredibly welcoming and responsive to questions we had about local recommendations throughout our trip and truly made us feel at home. We didn’t want to leave! I couldn’t recommend more!

The property is in a gated community of 14 estate homes nestled in an array of lush jungle & fruit trees. A variety of birds, monkeys , iguanas and other local animals habitat here. Dominical beach & town is just 2 minutes away and is known for its surf break, yoga centers, spa , farmers market and delicious restaurants. They also offer an urgent care and local pharmacy. Hermosa Beach is 5 minutes south and hosts the famous annual Envision Festival. Uvita is about 15 minutes south and is known for its Marino Ballena National Park where you can see the beach forming into a beautiful whales tail shape. Manuel Antonio National Park is about 30 minutes north.

This private gated community is the closest to Dominical village and has safe grounds and roads making access to the property easy for either driving or walking. It’s on a hillside so it’s great for taking a morning walk to enjoy the beautiful scenery. 4X4 is recommended but NOT necessary for reaching the property, just a great way to explore into those adventurous areas that Costa Rica is known for. Parking is easily available all along the front side of the property.
