Located above one of Tunbridge Wells oldest pubs ‘Beau Nash’, tucked away down a private drive away from the main road. The Beau Nash is a lovely, quirky pub with stunning garden & excellent food. Enjoy the private roof terrace on a summer’s evening with beers and wines on tap 30 seconds away. The flat has its own spiral staircase leading up to a private roof garden & flat entrance. Parking for 1 car only. However, this is down a long drive with no turning space so reversing skills required. This 2 bedroom flat is located above a popular and sometimes busy pub so expect the light hum of voices and background music most parts of the day. It’s only noticeable if the tv is switched off. The pub closes at 11 during the week and 12 Fridays and Saturdays. You access the flat from the pub garden up a private spiral staircase leading to your private roof terrace (sees full sun during the day). The roof terrace has an outdoor dining table and chairs, various potted plants and festoon lighting. Here you’ll find the front door which leads into a hallway and small office area equipped with a pc and screen (printer located in master bedroom). Kitchen is very compact but includes under counter fridge, microwave, electric hob, kettle, quality coffee machine and all the usual kitchen equipment. The full bathroom includes small bath with overheat electric shower, toilet and vanity unit. The lounge comfortably seats 4, there’s a top of the range 65” smart tv with satellite digital channels and sound bar…perfect for movies. Master bedroom comes off the lounge, complete with double bed, wardrobe and 48” smart tv. The second bedroom is off the hallway with double bed, wardrobe, 32” smart tv and a velvet curtain in the corner hides away a washer/dryer, ironing board and handheld vacuum. This bedroom has a Velux Window in the ceiling along side a remote operated blackout blind. Parking for 1 car only.
This was such a lovely place to stay - very charming and special. I’d definitely stay again. Thanks.
If I could give Ishmail's listing 6 stars I would. The apartment is fantastically decorated and the facilities are great, he has pretty much thought of everything. Really friendly and helpful host. Nothing was too much trouble. Nice to be able to park a small car just outside and great walkable location even without a car. The pub downstairs was very nice and the outside beer garden would be lovely when the sun starts to shine. A great stay...
The apartment was eclectically decorated, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Its in a prime location, just a 10-minute walk from the station, and benefits from local proximity to numerous charming restaurants and bars. One highlight was definitely the delicious burger I enjoyed at the lovely pub downstairs, thanks to a voucher included in the booking. The host was incredibly courteous, quick to respond, and clearly takes pride in maintaining the property. Overall, it offered great value for the reasonable price. Highly recommend!
I have just come back from a 1 night stay with some girls friends. It was the most prefect stay, nothing was to much we sent a few decorations ahead if our stay and asked them to be put up expecting a few balloons blown up and put on the floor .... boy was we wrong they made it look amazing!!!. We also got some recommendation of car parks and places nearby which where all great we had dinner in the pub below and it was the best food I have had out in a long time it was UNREAL you have to eat there is you stay its a must. I would come back to this Airbnb in a hear beat, I cant say enough how amazing it is and how amazing Ismail was.
