Burnside Cottage ist sehr ruhig, abgelegen und schön. Ich habe mich von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute sehr wohl gefühlt und gespürt, dass es Cleo eine Herzensangelegenheit ist, dass man sich als Gast bei ihr wohl fühlt. Sie hat das Cottage wunderschön restauriert und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles makellos sauber, ordentlich und gemütlich. Die Ruhe und den Blick aus allen Fenstern habe ich sehr genossen: Den Bach, die Hügel, das Meer, die Schafe, Hasen und Hirsche. Den Nachbarort Talmine mochte ich auch sehr, die Menschen dort, das Einfache und Authentische. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

First holiday in Scotland doing nc500. OMG Scotland is another planet, amazing scenery, beaches, waterfalls and wild life. This cottage encompasses all of it, wilderness, wildlife, beaches stream with waterfall on top of that an excellently well equipped cottage. Yes no wi fi which was heaven my teenage kids talked to us and each other. Loved it

What a beautiful location. We were here after new year so it was winter, and what beautiful winter views. A little walk up the hill and you can see the three nearest snowy peaks. Beautiful walks from here. I love all the heathers and liken and the landscape is so wild and beautiful. The house was warm and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to those who love nature.

The cottage and location exceeded our expectations. The immediate location has fantastic scenery with hills , mountains and beeches. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. So warm and quite, great nights sleep !We drove to John O'Groats and got pictures by the sign. Our other car trip was to Durness which has some spectacular views driving around the Loch. Pity the Zip Wire across the bay was closed!? Well it was New Years Day! One of our best holidays.
