We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Lakeshore Lodge. It was 'God's Pocket' indeed! Stunning location, lovely cabin with all the amenities and a good wood burner. The weather changes every 5minutes, but that makes the lake all the more spectacular!! Great local people - friendly and helpful - with lovely towns of Castlerbar, Ballinrobe and Westport for groceries, nice pubs and local charm. Finally, our host Walter was just brilliant! He really went out of his way to welcome us, talk us through the admin of the cabin, and give us lots of local recommendations. Great host! We'll definitely be wanting to return to beautiful Lough Mask.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Walters Haus direkt am See. Es war sehr schön jeden Tag mit dem SUP und Kajak den See zu erkunden. Walter ist ein äußerst freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und ehrlicher Gastgeber. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We had a wonderful time staying at Walter’s place. The surrounding landscape and views are more beautiful than any pictures can do justice to. Walter was super helpful and attentive with check in instructions and tips and the kitchen and overall place was very well equipped. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone!
