THINAMI Retreat is a beautiful retreat nestled in the hinterland. You will be surrounded by rainforest, fruit trees, Australian natives and lots of wildlife. THINAMI is the perfect place to come and relax, unwind, reconnect with yourself, connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle. You will find a calm and gentle pace, beautifully styled rooms, lush grounds with organic produce and friendly staff. We have 7 private rooms sleeping 1-4 people, all with their own designer bathrooms. Room 3 can accommodate 2 people in 2 King beds or up to 4 people in 4 single beds. You will just need to let us know what configuration you prefer once you book. This room is perfect for families or friends travelling together. All stays come with a light breakfast served in our dining room- think muesli, toast, fruit, yoghurt, jams etc. There is a communal dining room, yoga room which includes access to our library and board games, magnesium swimming pool, fire pit, outdoor dining area, walking trails, beautiful gardens, quiet places to sit and access to our full Retreat Offerings Menu (subject to availability). Our Retreat Offerings Menu includes: - Massage - Breathwork session - Ice bath - Sound healing - Sound bath - Meditation - Journaling session - Purpose and Clarity session

A Relaxing Oasis with Heartfelt Hospitality! More than just a place to stay – it was a sanctuary of comfort and personalized care. The hosts went above and beyond to create a truly homely atmosphere. Everything was impeccably clean and thoughtfully arranged, with little touches that made us feel instantly welcome. Their attentiveness was phenomenal. Even though they live on-site, the space is perfectly designed for complete guest privacy. They were always available if we needed anything, but never intrusive. Their dedication to our enjoyment showed in everything, from the delicious homemade breakfasts to the organized massages and cozy fireside evenings. It felt like they genuinely cared about every visitor having a relaxed and fulfilling stay. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and incredibly grateful for their hospitality. If you're looking for a home away from home with hosts who truly put their heart into making your experience special!
My family stayed there for 3 nights. We had great time there and the place are so lovely and awesome. staff are so nice and response so quick. Yummy and healthier brackfast was provided.
Very special place and we felt very lucky to have found it. I shared a room with my three sons - 21, 18, 15. Comfortable beds…newly renovated room. It has been transformed and brought back to life by the family…beautiful gardens, great swimming pool. ‘Themani’ (Greek for Strength) has been a family labour of love. So those of us lucky enough to stay feel that. You can be as separate and private as you like or connect and communicate with other guests at the communal tables. The breakfast was beyond expectation. All organic with produce from the farm. Freshly Boiled eggs in a basket, fruit platter, homemade granola, homemade jams… made with love by the wonderful Matriarch Voula…tables out in the garden or inside. It’s all starting and I encourage anyone thinking of a beautiful place to stay to book.

THINAMI Retreat is set on just shy of 20 beautiful acres in Lindendale, situated 20 minutes from Ballina Byron Gateway Airport and 40 minutes south of Byron Bay. We are in the beautiful hinterland, nestled in nature.
Our property is surrounded by acreages and farms. We are 20 minutes from the coast, so you get the best of the beautiful beaches of the Northern Rivers as well as the hinterland. We are just off the freeway so accessing all the amazing towns and sights up here is very easy.
There is also easy access to shopping and amenities being so close to Ballina, Lismore and Alstonville. The closest shops are about 12 minutes away with a convenience store just a few minutes' drive at the end of our road.
You will need a car when staying at Thinami Retreat if you would like to go exploring what the region has to offer as everything is a bit of a drive.
However, if you want to just spend time on the property relaxing and taking advantage of all the amenities then you could easily get a transfer to and from the airport.
