This was a little piece of heaven. The house was so cozy, the stay was quiet and I felt very safe. The views were incredible. Carolyn and her family were very warm and kind. I loved greeting the animals in the morning. The house is of course tiny, but charming and I enjoyed reading and cooking the fresh eggs left for me. I would definitely book there again.
I loved my solo vacation at the tiny White House! The host was very responsive and even showed me around the beautiful property. The handmade muffins were so delicious and there was also free eggs, coffee, and tea to try. The tiny house felt homey and modern. There was hot water. The upstairs was a perfect height and easy to sit up in bed (I’m 5’9”.) I just wish there was a mirror somewhere in the house and she also didn’t tell me the WiFi was out for my entire stay until I arrived!! Luckily I wasn’t there for work and I had unlimited data on my phone but I felt she should have definitely reached out BEFORE I arrived to tell me in case I needed WiFi during my stay.
Above and beyond what we were expecting! This tiny house has every detail thought of, from the fully functional kitchen and bathroom to the thoughtful design/layout and beautiful decor. The bed was way more roomy and comfy than I imagined, and I was impressed with how beautiful the property and layout of the area were – there is another fully renovated vintage airstream tucked away, and a slightly bigger tiny house, all nearby, so you could host a retreat or family vacation if you wanted. We were shocked to find fresh eggs and homemade muffins waiting for us inside and were grateful for the coffee provided in the morning. It felt more like a true bnb than other listings we've stayed at. It is very obvious how the hosts, Carolyn and Julio, have poured so much thought and love into the property and homes; it feels like an oasis of peace and quiet. We felt so at ease, as if we were at a fancy retreat center or something. Hope to come back when its colder to try the tiny wood stove!
We provide fresh chicken eggs, hand crafted loose leaf tea, ground coffee with a french press, and baked goodies, for your breakfast. We have good water and all the best parts of country living and yet are so close to town; just 7 minutes to Savemart, and right off Highway 191/Clark Road in Paradise. Our paved driveway is only for us and our guests. All properties around us are 5 or more acres so we do not see each other often.
自我介绍
My husband and I love meeting new people. We enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, kayaking, cooking and eating international food, and offering hospitality. I love black loose leaf tea and make my own blends. Two of my many favorite life-changing books are One Thousand Gifts by Ann VosKamp and Keep Your Love On by Danny Silk. Julio loves movies; some family favorites are Master of Disguise and My Big Fat Greek Wedding. He also loves playing and watching others play soccer and basketball. Julio is from Peru so we visit there as often as we can and have plans to travel more now that all of our four children are 18 and over. We are travelers as well as hosts and that gives us good ideas for making your stay as pleasant and comfortable as we like our stays to be.
