We stayed at New Orchard House for the April solar eclipse and could not have picked a better location. The house itself was beautiful, clean, and more than enough space for the 4 of us who made the trip. The location was great for our purposes -- quiet, clear view of the sky from the backyard, and you could see the lake from the front porch (not yet in the photos--great add to the property!). It was the office season so many nearby attractions were closed, but it's an easy, 20-30m into Burlington. Things to know: towels and toiletries included; kitchenware fully stocked; there are some basic condiments and spices available in the kitchen; lots of extra blankets!

We recently had a three night stay at this location. The weather was pretty horrible with rain and wind, but we had a lovely, lovely indoor space to feel cozy in. We played card games, curled up under the lovely blanket she had there, and there was all kinds of room for everyone to spread out. We eat at Wally’s bagel, 2 Heroes Brewery and at subs, all within walking distance. It was great. She responded within the hour to any concern that we had.

Our family really liked the open layout of the house, it had plenty of space and was very comfortable living. The kitchen was fully functional and very helpful in our travels. Good restaurants are nearby, a couple within walking distance. The house is clean and very livable for a group of people to relax after a long day of travel and other recreation.

One of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. You must visit the local restaurants on the Champlain Islands and the bike ferry (causeway) where you can walk to scenic 360 views of the Lake. The restaurants nearby are fun and there are some very good options for all types of diners (including vegetarians and people with allergies) Super easy drive into Burlington and Winooski for business/relaxation/food/drinks/University Would recommend to anyone or any family!

This house was wonderful! The house, the area and scenery were picture perfect. If I am ever in the area again, this will will be my go to vacation rental.
