Look no further if what you want is a quiet escape - Chris and Stephen’s place really is a little slice of heaven! It really feels like a home from home with lots of thoughtful touches including plenty of reading material, lovely smelling linens, fresh croissants, bread, honey and milk! The cabin is perfectly located just outside Tavistock and easy to access. Communication and instructions were both great. I had a lovely time and left feeling truly recharged. I will definitely be returning soon and can foresee it becoming a regular occurrence.

Really enjoyed my stay. Chris and Stephen very friendly and greeted me on arrival then left me to myself, which was really nice! Was treated to some sunny weather and enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden...gorgeous plants and surrounded by birds. Nice easy access through a side gate, so no need to disturb anyone. Some lovely curious horses in the field next to the house that kept popping their heads over to say hi when I parked up! Really cosy feel to the place. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at forget me not cottage. Our hosts came and welcomed us even though we arrived at midnight and there was a lovely little welcome basket with croissants, jams and honey - aswell as milk and bread which is such a nice touch. the cabin was clean and welcoming and lovely and warm as they had left the heaters on for us. Great value for money, would thoroughly recommend.

Forget me not cottage is anything but it’s name! We will always fondly remember staying at Stephen and Chris’ barn: beautiful, peaceful place, well equipped and cosy barn and very welcoming hosts. We certainly are looking forward to our next visit!
