Absolutely 100% recommend this little cabin in the sticks! Graeme and Katherine were lovely hosts. We hope to come back in the next school holiday!

The perfect peaceful location, but you’re into Tavistock within minutes. The lanes are narrow, but were so quiet while we stayed. While WiFi is available it is (currently) limited due to the location. There’s everything you’d need for a comfortable stay, the kitchen is so well equipped and the use of space is great. The surrounding area is equally peaceful, with ample local attractions, but Dartmoor is the best of them in our view!

Beautiful place, accommodation as expected. Poor phone and internet signal was a bonus for us. Loved the garden and forest walk.

Great host with a lovely property in a peaceful location! Very well kitted out and presented. Very easy communication throughout, wouldn't hesitate to recommend. About 30 min walk into Tavistock, or 5 min drive. Parking space right outside property, quite tight access if you have a long vehicle. Pretty garden to enjoy with outside furniture. Thank you for our stay :)

Just came back from a long weekend and had a lovely time! The lodge had a super cosy feel. A real home away from home with lots of privacy! There was lots of dvds, books and games on hand which we found useful. We cooked a couple of times too and the kitchen was well equipped! We found the bed to be comfy also. The location was very peaceful and great for exploring Dartmoor national park! We went to a few beaches in Plymouth and into Cornwall as well so it’s a great little spot. There is takeaways and shops nearby! Graeme & Katherine had also gone away for the weekend but were very lovely over message. We would 100% recommend staying here! Also big bonus for being dog friendly!! Our doggo Sunny really enjoyed himself.
