Arrive at Stumpfields, a large English-styled two-story house, and climb the spiral staircase to Honeysuckle Suite! Two large bedrooms share a spacious bathroom with 2 sinks, a shower, bathtub and Western toilet. All three rooms connect to each other, and the bedrooms are accessed individually from the hallway. One bedroom has 4 huge windows that look out over a stunning view of valleys and mountain ranges. The second bedroom has two windows and a private patio. Breakfast and dinner included! Honeysuckle Suite occupies 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom in this 5 bedroom house. These two rooms SHARE a single bathroom. The suite is on the 1st floor, and you will need to climb a spiral staircase to reach your rooms.The house has two main levels and a half level. The house has 30 windows in total, letting in the view and the light. Doors in multiple locations lead out onto patios and gardens on this 1.5 acre plot. Just 7 kilometers outside of Ooty town, this property is close to all the major tourist highlights but is secluded and remote at the same time. Away from the hustle and bustle of Ooty town, Ivy Cottage is a serene and peaceful retreat, overlooking tea estates, wild forest and mountain ridges. Two other cottages, Ivy and Bilberry, just 50 feet from the main house, share the 1.5 acre property. Bilberry Cottage is directly above Ivy Cottage. We have staff here in the day to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Security cameras are used in multiple locations for your safety and our peace of mind. We provide a breakfast buffet at 8am and a dinner buffet at 7:30 every evening included in the price. The meals are served in the dining room downstairs. In the evenings, if you wish to socialize, please gather in the living room of the main house and enjoy a warm fire in the hearth. We do not provide lunch. You may order food to be delivered to your cottage from nearby restaurants. The nearest good restaurant is Highland Hotel 1.5 km away. We do not provide room service.
