自我介绍

I was born and brought up in Ooty, though eventually work took me to delhi where i have lived for 25 years and travel took me all over the world but my heart was alway in Ooty. Since quitting work about 3 years back i spend summers in Ooty and winters in Delhi. Am more than happy to shoot the breeze with you (if i am in Ooty) or leave you to your own devices depending on your preference if you do decide to stay at my place. Football(soccer) is my fav sport though being Indian cricket is not too far behind. If you are unfamiliar with Ooty and need help planning what to do during your trip i'll be more than happy to offer suggestions and help you plan your visit based on your interests . There is a lot to see in and around Ooty. In the few weeks since I have been a host I find a lot of guests planning 1-2 day visits, while i understand the pressures of work and the lack of ability to take more days off, i would sincerely suggest that the basic purpose of your holiday to Ooty is defeated if you are rushing through your day/days trying to see as much as possible rather than planning a relaxed trip with enough time to really enjoy the scenic beauty of the place and the bracing weather, slow down and really recharge yourself before heading back to your typically hectic life in the cities.Please plan one day of not doing much and just soaking in the atmosphere, taking a leisurely walk , soaking in the sun, etc. Having lived in a big city for 25 years i consider myself lucky to call Ooty my hometown. i hope you too discover the charm of Ooty and not just the scenic beauty of the place
