It is located minutes from Lake James and many hiking and biking trails like Fonta Flora Trail, Lake James State Park, and the Mountain-to-Sea trail. Our property is situated a few hundred feet from Pisgah National Forest, Linville Gorge, in a quiet neighborhood, but only 20 minutes from downtown Morganton. The Lake James Linville Boat Access is roughly 3 minutes away, Fonta Flora Trail is located across the road and the Fonta Flora Brewery Whippoorwill farm is a short 5 minute drive. Talk about options! Take a step back in time, when entering this cabin, it is cozy and full of character. The main living room boasts of a beautiful fireplace with gas logs, with comfortable couches and chairs. There is a shared dining room and off this living/dining room is the sweetest mountain kitchen you have ever seen. It is stocked with the pots and pans, coffee maker, and utensils that you need to make any sort of meal. The Master is on the main floor featuring a king bed and another dramatic fireplace with gas logs and TV/DVD player. A bathroom with a shower is off the master bedroom as is the laundry room. Upstairs there is a loft area with a Trundle bed, a Queen, a futon and TV/DVD. Off the loft is a small bedroom with a full bed. There is another Bathroom upstairs with shower and tub.
