A great place for a short break.. very quiet and within driving distance to lots of places to visit. The enclosed garden was a bonus when travelling with a new dog. The chalet was lovely and warm & had everything you needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Citrus Chalet over the Christmas period, it was cosy and comfy and a great location for us as it wasn't too far from our son's home in Pool. Although we never met Cathy in person she was very responsive with messaging and exact directions. Citrus Chalet was exactly how it looked in the photos and how it was described, a well equipped kitchen with everything you would need and the enclosed garden was just perfect for our little dog. It was the nice personal touches that made it even special, from milk in the fridge, some delicious biscuits and fresh flowers, to the Christmas decorations making it very festive. we picked Cathy's place because of the location. Close to portreath and just a couple of minutes drive from the A30 for the rest of cornwall. The chalet was lovely and clean and a great spot for a few nights. the enclosed garden with a great view was a bonus, travelling with a dog and child it is nice to know they are safe. we didn't need to contact the hosts during our stay but they were very helpful and friendly when we exchanged messages before hand. there is also an Aldi and Tesco with petrol station very close by.
