Cute and cozy apartment a block away from Lake Merritt and 5 mins walk to Lake Merritt train station which takes you to SF in 10 mins. I'm taking over for Mil as a new host, but the space has been on since 2018 and has earned many positive reviews. When sending a request please tell me more about yourself and reason for your trip. I'm looking to host only easy going & considerate guests. If you're messy and don't like to clean up after yourself, then this is NOT the place for you. Overall, it's a nice, spacious unit that is far more reasonably priced than a lot of other properties in the area. It is a block from Lake Merritt and only a 5-minute walk from the train station that can have you in downtown San Francisco within 15 minutes. Mil was a great host, kind and quick to respond to any questions. The only downsides to the property I experienced had to do with the kitchen and with noise. While there was a full kitchen, it was lacking in most basic tools that are needed for cooking; however, this also should not be as much of an issue for future guests as I bought the tools that I needed during my stay and left them in the unit for future use. This is also less likely to be an issue for those renting the property for short stays. As for noise, while the area itself is not the noisest, due to the design of the complex, you can hear any shouting or car noises outside. The only other noise that can be disruptive is the neighbors upstairs, who can be heard stomping around at all hours of the day on most days. Those two minor issues aside, it is a nice property that I recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Oakland or with easy access to San Francisco." Excellent location with some really excellent restaurants nearby, a couple of bodegas for simple groceries, and of course just a block away from the lake! The apartment is very clean with a nice kitchen, workspace, and living space. Excellent for longer stays, especially with all the cookware essentials that some listings are lacking. Mil is very nice and communicative! This easily beats anything similar in the area, most of the other listings are run by property management companies that put in the bare minimum on comfort and communication. The patio is so charming! Check-in was a breeze. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting SF."
