Our house features total immersion in our forest; its location and views--which face privately-owned land--were chosen to assure total privacy. The beautiful features inside offer a perfect view regardless of where you look. A pellet stove provides heat when needed. WiFi is available, but our satellite internet can be slow at times - fine for surfing/email, while streaming sometimes works well and sometimes not. Cell reception is very limited. Our nearby homestead is a work-in-progress and construction is ongoing, but we halt any loud activities when guests are staying with us. A brief walk to the point on our pond is perfect for nature-watching, and a small screen room tent is set up seasonally for your bug-free enjoyment. Access and Getting Around (PLEASE READ before booking): Our gated, winding, two mile gravel/dirt camp road takes you on a journey from civilization to seclusion. We recommend driving it with care and a vehicle with high ground clearance such as a crossover, SUV, or truck. AWD or 4x4 and studded tires are required as there are steep sections of road and we do not spread sand/salt.
