In the neighborhood, there are mostly bourgeois houses and tenements built in the late 1800s and early 1900s in classicist style. This house, in which our apartment is located, was built in the 1890s on Ferenc körút, approx. 400 m from the Danube and survived the two world wars without major damage. This section of the Boulevard is characterized by rows of trees bordering the wide road on both sides, which provide a refreshing experience in the city bustle. Thanks to the very thick brick walls, the apartments are quiet and cool inside.
There are many shopping opportunities nearby within a few hundred meters, there are supermarkets (Aldi, Spar, Roni 0-24), drugstores, convenience stores and classic markets. There are small bakeries, fast food restaurants, canteens, wineries, pubs and cafes within walking distance.
There are metro and tram stops almost on site, with which Budapest's main transport hubs and Budapest's many attractions, can be easily reached.

Public transport
Tickets and passes can be purchased at ticket machines, ticket counters, via a mobile phone application, and the airport line ticket can also be purchased from the bus driver.
By purchasing an airport line ticket from the airport, you can take the '100E' bus to Kálvin tér (approx. 30 minutes). From here, by purchasing a regular line ticket, you need to travel one stop on the 'M3' subway to the stop closest to the apartment (approx. 5-10 minutes), which can be replaced by a 15-minute walk, if you have the will, the strength and mood to do so. :-) The entire trip on the airport-apartment route, approx. takes 40-45 minutes.
Taxi
There are many taxis at the airport, so you also have the option to go by car
the taxi driver can take you right to the door of the building. It usually takes 30-40 minutes, depending from traffic.
Arrival by train:
If you arrive in Budapest by train, you can easily reach the apartment from the major railway stations (Budapest-Kelenföld, Budapest-Keleti, Budapest-Déli, Budapest-Nyugati) by using the subway network. Line 'M4'+'M3' from Kelenföld, line 'M4'+'M3' from Keleti, line 'M2'+'M3' from Déli, line 'M3' from Nyugati, or tram '4' or tram '6'. We will discuss the exact routes with you in correspondence.
If you want to travel further by taxi from the train station, you will find taxis at the parking lot of the train station.

The 'M3' metro line and tram lines '4' and '6' are located almost on the spot, with which Budapest's main transport hubs can be easily accessed, so many transfer options are available in all directions.
Bicycle, scooter, e-scooter, e-car
It is also possible to rent bicycles, electric scooters and small electric cars on the streets. These require the download of a mobile phone application.
If you bring a bicycle or scooter with you, you will be able to leave them in the open bicycle storage room in the house free of charge.

You can order a taxi to the accommodation by phone at any time during your stay.
Car
The apartment is located in the central part of Budapest, so it is easily accessible by car. However, the parking spaces on the streets are limited and are mostly reserved for local residents, whose authorization is strictly controlled by the municipality and unauthorized parking is punished, therefore we recommend the paid parking lots or parking garages in the area for parking purposes (e.g. Care Park Liliom, Páva Ház Parking garage, Ráday utca 43, Üllői út 47, Corvin Plaza Parking lot)
