Kevin was the perfect host! He was quick to respond to any messages that I sent him before arriving. Once there, we felt right at home! The house is perfect for our family. We had 5 adults, a toddler, and 2 dogs with us. The home was stocked with everything we could have needed, right down to a needle and thread! The front has a screened in porch and the back has a relaxing deck with a view of the canal. Relaxing not your cup of tea? That’s ok too! There is a dart board and ping pong table to enjoy those friendly or not so friend competitions! The home was located close to everything without being right in the middle of all the action. We look forward to our next trip!!

My family of 4 (3 humans + 1 pup) had a FUNtastic stay at Harbor Fun! From arriving to a live attendant at the neighbor gate to the sturdy fencing in the yard and deck, we felt very safe and welcomed. Although, at AM & PM rush hour, the main roads can get pretty busy and drivers go a bit fast for a residential area, we stuck to the side roads for walks with the dog and got around just fine otherwise! My husband and son spent more time on the dock and in the back yard fishing and crabbing and chatting with friendly neighbors than inside! Our 6 month old puppy’s first OBX trip was a super success thanks to this pet friendly location! If you are a coffee drinker, make sure to check out Higher Grounds Coffee & Ice Cream shop right off the main road you turn in from, super friendly owner and delicious! We will most definitely return here for another visit in the future!

The photos didn’t do it justice. Beautiful and airy home right on the canal. Kevin left clear instructions and was quick to respond. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood that was only a short drive to shopping and beaches.

We so enjoyed our stay at this house and the location was excellent. It was wonderful having my dog with us and we felt right at home. I highly recommend this house and also the Colington Cafe right down the street has amazing food! We had everything we needed at the house, it was great.
