Set in a small rural hamlet, part of the parish of Aldborough and Thurgarton, North Norfolk. Aldborough was named 8th best village in the UK by The Sunday Times 2021 and features an annual village fair and cricket is still played on the Village Green during the Summer.
The popular local pub is within easy walking distance (5 minutes) and provides an excellent choice and quality of food and drink, in a warm cosy and welcoming setting.
The accommodation sits on popular cycling routes in North Norfolk and the recently created Rebellion Way Cycling Route - a 232 mile circular tour of Norfolk. (Bicycles can be stored securely by the property owners upon request.)
The Weavers Way - a 61 mile hiking route for Gt Yarmouth to Cromer, via North Walsham and Aylsham passes close-by. With multiple, long, circular walks available from the accommodation, including to Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall, as well as many shorter walks in and around the surrounding villages of Aldborough and Thurgarton.
The coast is just 7 miles away with the fabulous coastal towns of Sheringham and Cromer, offering all seaside amenities and further afield the small coastal villages of North Norfolk, including Weybourne and Blakeney. The nature reserve at Cley and Salthouse Marshes are a haven for birdwatchers and nature lovers. The wide-open beaches of Burnham Overy, Wells and Holkham are within an easy 45 minute drive.

Dedicated off-road parking provided. The local roads are typical countryside lanes, ideal for cycling and close to the Weavers Way walking trail.
