Family run, cherished caravan available for rent in Romney Sands, a Parkdean Holiday Resort. Our lovely caravan sleeps eight people: there is a master bedroom with a double bed and 2x twin single bedrooms, plus a sofa in the front room doubles as a sofa bed, that comfortably sleeps two people. This caravan is ideally located in Romney Sands Parkdean Resorts; you have access to the onsite entertainment as well as the local amenities. On site, there is a large swimming pool and a clubhouse, where there is fantastic entertainment for both children and adults throughout the day and well into the night (which you can purchase a pass for, which covers the duration of your stay). The clubhouse also boasts its own bar and restaurant, with an arcade for all to enjoy. On top of this, there is a Tavern Bar; this is open to all, providing drinks and food. (The clubhouse and swimming pools will shut for the season from November 6th 2023 to March 4th 2024. However, the Tavern bar will remain open at the weekends during these times.) The Romney Hythe Dymchurch Rail also stops in the park, making it perfect for you to jump on and explore the local area. Since 1927 the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway has been an integral part of the landscape of the Romney Marsh.Known as “Kent’s Mainline in Miniature”, the world famous one-third full size steam & diesel locomotives have powered their way along the 13½ miles of track from the Cinque Port town of Hythe, terminating in Dungeness; a National Nature Reserve. With 4 stations in between, all within walking distance of a beach, the railway provides you with an opportunity to explore this unique corner of Kent. Coast & country walks, with all manner of wildlife & flora to be seen, cycle rides, medieval churches and iconic lighthouses are all on our doorstep. Close to both the Greatstone Dunes and the Dungeness Nature Reserve, there’s plenty to do nearby too. Stroll through the dunes to reach miles of golden sandy beach or take a walk to spot the local wildlife.
