Blanca du bist die beste. Vielen Dank für deine Gastfreundschaft. Eine super schöne Umgebung direkt am Strand umgeben vom Dschungel. Ein kleiner Nachteil, man kann nicht mit dem Auto direkt zur Unterkunft Vorfahren, sondern muss noch ca 15 Minuten zu Fuss am Strand entlang laufen. Aber keine Sorge, Blanca unterstützt dich mit Ihrem Quat und fährt das ganze Gepäck und alles was du sonst noch hast in die Unterkunft. Sie kocht sehr sehr gut und organisiert auch Touren für dich. Wir hatten die Tour zur Insel Caño zum Schnorcheln und es war wunderschön ( Schildkröten, Delfine, Mantas, Stachelrochen und viele bunte Fische) Liebe Grüsse Blanca, wir kommen wieder ( vielleicht schon im August 😊) Roger und Pamela

The location of Blanca's place could not be better. From the beach it is a 1-2 minute walk up the grassy lawn. As amazing as the location is, it is Blanca herself that is the highlight. Her hospitality is second to none. We enjoyed talking with her, particularly when she cooked a daily meal for us. She was always available and as helpful as can be. The first restaurant we ate at after leaving Blanca's was a disappointment as the food did not measure up to the quality of Blanca's. Meeting her was a highlight of our trip. Thank you Blanca!

Wow, Blancas hospitality is unmattched! she treats you like visiting faimly! cooking amazing food with huge portions! Blancas place is more than you could ask for out of a private bungalow on the beach! just steps away the sounds of the ocean, lul you to sleep! Blanca is a problem solver. my phone got wet, Blanca fixed it. We needed a water taxi, her son is the captain, I wanted kayaks she got me and my dad two. 100% this is the place for a quite retreate. I've stayed I drakes bay 3x now and this is the best food, kindness, and location.

I can't say enough about this experience. Truly one of a kind. It is very secluded - if you are travelling from Drake Bay and don't have a 4x4 to drive the rocky road (about 25 mins from Drake?) I recommend a boat (very easy and inexpensive and reliable) - OR apparently there's a path from Drake you can walk (2.5 hrs?). We were driving and had a 4x4 so it was a wild and exciting drive. Blanca had a lovely man (and his son) meet us at the beach and walk us the remaining 1km up the beach to the cabin. The beach is one of the most beautiful I've seen. Blanca was waiting to greet us, as was her daughter. The cabin was simple but absolutely perfect - with everything we needed (rice cooker, coffee maker, gas stovetop, fridge, shower, fans, comfy bed, etc). Toucans and monkeys played in the trees outside. Blanca even graciously sent down some (delicious) carrot cake as a welcome. It was honestly a wild and beautiful experience, and we will 100% go back.
