If you are looking to travel further afield, the closest bus stop is a minute’s walk away where you can catch a ride to some of the stunning North Devon beaches including Woolacombe and Saunton Sands, as well as the quaint coastal villages of Lynton and Lynmouth and the more lively village of Braunton. If you are driving, the closest car park is Wilder Road Car Park, only two minute’s walk. This can get quite pricey in the summer months, so alternatively there is the more affordable Brookdale Car Park about 5 minutes walk away. Free on street parking can be found on nearby Langleigh Road or Westbourn Grove both only 3 minutes walk away. Within just a short drive you’ll find several destinations including North Devon’s economic hub and main town of Barnstaple, the award-winning and family friendly beach resort of Woolacombe, the surf haven of Saunton Sands, and the wilds of Exmoor National Park ready to explore.
