We had a brilliant stay at the Vineyard Hut! It was clean, well-kept and super cosy. The surrounding areas are beautiful and our stay was really relaxing and peaceful. We were really pleased with the amount of space in the hut and how comfy the bed was! The log burner is the cherry on top of a relaxing stay. We loved how environmentally friendly everything was too!

We had a lovely 2 night stay an the Vineyard Shepherds Hut this weekend. The location is really peaceful and picturesque with some lovely walks straight from the door. The shepherds hut was incredibly cosy, is beautifully decorated and feels very homey. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The wood burner was perfect after a long and chilly day out. We found lots of great places to visit in the local area - we recommend Tattershall castle, Baumber walled gardens (nice tea room), Louth town centre and Leagate Inn (for food). Perhaps it was due to the time of year we went but we found that several places which said online that they were open for food were closed when we arrived so recommend calling ahead to avoid disappointment. Really beautiful part of the country and well worth a visit. Would definitely return to Lexi and Charles' shepherds hut again!

We had a short stay in the Vineyard Shepherds hut. The hut is pristine and really feels like a home away from home. Every aspect had been thought through to make it a wonderful stay; the hosts were also incredibly accommodating to make it cosy and convenient to stay with our four month old. Lexi was really responsive and gave us clear directions to the location; Charles was also on hand to provide more kindling at a moment’s notice (we stayed through a storm!) Don’t be concerned about the temperature if staying; as soon as we got the log burner going, it was a lovely, toasty 20+ degrees in mid December! We would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking and we shall most definitely be returning ourselves. Thank you Lexi and Charles!

I surprised my boyfriend with a weekend getaway for his birthday. We couldn’t be more impressed. The location was amazing along with the scenic views. We arrived at the shepherds hut very happy with how clean and tidy everything was. Everything we needed was thought of and available at the hut. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor bath and fire pit as well as the coziness of the indoor fireplace. There was lots of recommendations of local walks which we took full advantage of. The surrounding villages were no more than a few minutes drive away too which was also a bonus, We will definitely be back to visit and couldn’t fault a thing. Thankyou for such a wonderful stay!
