Loved the location. It is an easy walk into town and to the beach. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The house was cozy, warm, clean, and well decorated with a very functional updated kitchen and bathroom. I enjoyed how open the kitchen and dining room were while entertaining friends. Nicki was very responsive and friendly. I appreciated her recommendations and enjoyed getting lamb chops from the Ludington Meat Company and stopping at La Probadita in Hart on our way home. Highly recommend this gem!

Nikki's cozy cottage home in the charming village of Pentwater is an appealing blend of the old and the new! We were so comfortable in the airy and light filled spaces. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you need, including pantry items and beverage options. The updated lighting was appreciated, from outdoor sensor light at entry to indoor nightlights. Eclectically and tastefully furnished, from interesting artwork and photos on the walls to plush towels and comfy mattresses. Outdoors is a large enclosed yard with firepit, adirondack chairs, and a freestyle adventure swing! Hosts Nikki and Nolan have insured that guests of all ages will be comfortable here with safety features for little ones as well as elders! We look forward to returning to this getaway only a half mile from the Lake Michigan shoreline and the pristine sandy beach at Mears State Park!

We loved staying at Nicki’s home in Pentwater. We were in town for a wedding at the Yacht Club and the home was in perfect walking distance to the ceremony and other gems in town. Nicki was incredibly responsible and created helpful instructions that did not leave much room for question. The home was cute and more than comfortable for my partner and myself and the couple we stayed with. We would absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves in Pentwater.

Dear Sandbergs, I can tell that you have done many things to improve the old Guy and Mary Lou VanNortwick house. Improving old properties benefits everyone – so a plus here That said….your Airbnb is not historic, although there are older men in town that had their Cub Scout meetings in the basement fireplace room, to be historic you need to document something noteworthy 100 ago years in the house. As is today, the house is also not cozy – unless cozy just means small. Kitchen: well equipped and pleasant other than an occasional spider. Bathroom: nicely remodeled. Shower head is not adjustable in height or water flow – disappointing. Bedroom: garage sale furniture. Closet not finished. Ceiling fan not adjustable. Lamps have very poor lighting. Needs a power strip to plug in devices. Dining area: ok Front living room: garage sale furniture, mostly uncomfortable.
