A few friends and I stayed this weekend for my 30th birthday. It was absolutely perfect. The house was beautiful and had everything you could need to have a great time at the lake. We rented a boat for a few hours from Shady Cliff just right across the lake. We enjoyed the sunrise from the dock every morning with a cup of coffee. So relaxing and much needed! Definitely go visit The Kennedy’s home, you will not be disappointed!

My husband, and I drove 4.5 hours down from Indiana with our 5 kiddos between the ages of 7 and 14. I hoped our trip would be filled with laughter, lake splashes, active (screen free) kids, and peaceful nights for us. It was all that and then some! The lake house is absolutely perfect for families, or couples looking to get away. While the houses are close together the quaintness of the town, and the serenity of the lake made us feel like we had our own oasis. The house was very clean, had lots of accommodations, and really felt like home. The upstairs deck, and back patio by the dock were perfect for entertaining, grilling out, playing games, having a fire, and of course jumping in and out of the lake. We ran into some cat troubles and the owner, John was quick to reach out to neighbors to help. Southern hospitality at its finest. Everyone gave the whole experience two thumbs up! Even the teenagers! We will definitely be back!!
