We had heater and gas issues..but we got full refund for the stay

Location was beautiful., but: - the combination of non-working lights and unplugged smoke detectors (missing batteries) was concerning. - As well, some of the kitchen chairs were wobbly and missing parts. - The very cheap model gas grill was filthy and would not close properly with top rack inside, because someone bent it. Wish we had brought our camping grill. - The spare propane tank was empty, not full as described in the listing. When we texted her about it she responded that it was a problem for her and she would remove it from the listing. She did reimburse for the replacement we purchased. - All of our produce froze in the refrigerator the first night, and the ice bin was full of dirt and grass. - Overflowing trash bin outside. - Basic supplies were scant - tp, dishwasher soap, etc. Barely enough to get us through the first night. (Only 4 of us, houses up to 12) We’ve stayed at many ABNB places, this one was dissapointing. Great potential…Needs TLC

Great place to stay! The children loved the lake, and there were boats and tubes to use. Not far from Marquette and only an hour from Munising. Thanks so much!

We enjoyed our stay on the lake. What we loved: the cabin feels private. Marquette is close and has great restaurants. We loved the bright and well stocked kitchen overlooking the lake. The couch was comfy. It was nice to have the canoe, row boat, and grill. This is a cabin on the lake surrounded by trees. There will be bugs (black flies and mosquitos) and you’ll need to bring bug spray and make sure you’re being cognizant when going in and out of the house. Don’t leave windows open upstairs as they don’t have screens—the upstairs gets musty because you can’t open the windows. If you’re big into TV/screaming, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work well. There are two Roku TVs, but we weren’t able to stream Netflix without it buffering every minute (and most of the time it didn’t work at all). There’s a DVD player, so we watched some movies we brought.
