Welcome to Kanoa Lodge. Adults & 1 3+, no infants This is a place where one can wonder in an oasis of calmness and peace. We created a jungle oasis vibe garden where yo can sit and enjoy by yourself or with other guests. Kanoa Lodge is newly constructed with a unique style in Pavones for couples, friends and single travellers. Nested in the hart of Pavones. A 5 minute walk to the village and surf spot. 4 rooms with ocean/garden view, warm water, WIFI, pool, kitchen shack and outdoor shower. This cozy room features two comfortable single beds that can be easily put together to form a king size bed. The beds are made up with soft linens and plush pillows to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. The room is decorated with warm, earthy tones and features a large window that floods the space with natural light. The en-suite bathroom is modern and clean, with a spacious shower and fluffy towels. This room is ideal for friends or couples traveling together who want to stay close while still enjoying the comfort and privacy of their own beds. They ask for more money when you arrive at place. They seem nice but they sent you a strange link to put your credit card. If they want more money, they should higher the price of the rooms. Be careful, don't trust them!!! Not recommended at all. I can prove what I say.
Het was echt een heerlijke plek met een lekker zwembad en vlakbij het (surf) strand. De kamers waren netjes en ruim met super lekkere (warme) douche en privé buitenruimte. We konden elke dag vanuit de kamer van de zonsondergang genieten. Bij het zwembad was een fijne keuken die we konden gebruiken waar we konden koken en eten. Alles was helemaal nieuw en overal was over nagedacht, by far het mooiste huis in de omgeving. Margot en David zijn super vriendelijk en deden er alles aan om ons verblijf nog beter te maken. Wij raden deze plek zeker aan!
Notre séjour à Pavones chez Gootje et David a été formidable en tous points ! Nous avons tout d’abord été très bien accueillis. La chambre toucan offre une très belle vue en hauteur, l’ambiance y est calme et paisible, à quelques minutes à pied de l’océan. Tout est très fonctionnel, de qualité et choisi avec beaucoup de goût. Gootje et David sont toujours disponibles pour partager et faire connaissance, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Ils sont des hôtes de grande qualité, et leur projet est superbe. Ne pas hésiter !
I had such a lovely stay at the brand new and modern airb&b of David and Gootje. The atmosphere was peaceful, everything was spot clean and the warm water a treat :) The mattress was comfortable and the surroundings quiet, perfect for me as I am a light sleeper. The room & mural was so beautiful and inspiring and made by a famous artist. The hosts are very welcoming, enthusiastic, informed and both are experienced surfers. Their suggestions were very helpful and I loved the talks we had about travelling & passions and Costa Rica! I felt safe walking & jogging around the neighbourhood by myself. The people were super friendly and happy. And there was lots to do, also outside of the surfing, such as hikes, swimming in a small waterfall and having amazing food & drinks (Gabi's place, don't miss it!). I can highly recommend this airbnb and I would definitely stay again!
