The house was great. Very clean and comfortable. When we had questions, someone got back to us right away. Only issue was that the pool was not swimmable as it had algae and leaves but we did not miss it as there was so much to see!

Beautiful location across the street from the ocean. There is a walking trail not far from the house as well as a local beach which ended up being on of our favorites. Its about 15 min drive from Ribeira grande, but there are some restaurants ~5min driving form the house as well. Overall had a great stay minus a few minor issues with the house such as a broken shower/toilet which the host is aware of and fixing and offered us a partial refund for. Joao was very responsive and understanding.

La maison "Casa da boa viagem" est une belle maison familliale et très bien équipée. Elle a toutefois besoin d'un peu d'entretien pour être parfaite: - nettoyage des exterieurs et de la piscine; - vérifier avant l'arrivée que les sanitaires fonctionnent (une chasse d'eau était en panne et pas fini de réparer après 8 jours); - et surtout, régler les problèmes d'humidité de la maison car les absorbeurs d'humidité dispersés partout montrent que le problème est connu des propriétaires qui se contentent de louer dans cet état alors que des travaux sont nécessaires. Cela sent le moisi et il faut dormir dedans. Pas cool... C'est le gros défaut de cet endroit.
