The chalet was a great base to explore the island. 5 min drive from Yarmouth, 10 min drive from Freshwater Beach. Great space around the chalet if you had kids.

Brilliant few days stay at Sam’s place, the place was exactly what we were after with two young kids and being able to open up on a large grass lawn with views of the sea is sensational. Incredibly close to the sea, The Hut, Tapnell Farm, Yarmouth, etc so a perfect base. Loved it! Thank you!

we had a lovely stay as a family of 4 with our 8 year old Twins. Great location within a short 7 minutes drive from Yarmouth Ferry Terminal. Compton Bay, freshwater amd many attractions locally. view of the Needle from bottom of the road and access to beach. view of the sea from the dining table while enjoying your breakfast/lunch. ( a bit distant, still very idyllic watching the sailing boats sailing away). well equipped chalet with everything you need and working. we dined inn due to our dietary requirements and felt right at home. No internet or WiFI in the chalet but there is public wifi and access code available from the site office. which we didn't use as we had our own mobile hotspot. great collection of books, board games and DVDs to keep the little ones entertained. This lovely well equipped 2 bedroom chalet was perfect, especially if you are a family with young children - as the second bedroom had lots of books, games etc and suitable bedding for children. However, it also has everything that adults would need, including a well equipped but narrow kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine etcetera. Your own parking space with a washing line, chairs for sitting outside and a lovely view out to sea. Then just a 5 minute walk down a gentle path to a beautiful secluded sandy beach. We loved the peace and quiet. It does not take long to get to the more touristy areas so this gives you the best of both worlds.

Clearly a proper holiday house with everything one could wish for. Wonderful environment, with the sea one spit away. Great for children too, with some toys inside but also a nice playground outside.
