Can't understate how close to the beach you are. The house is lovely and homely too. I visited on my own and despite it pouring down on Sunday, I didn't feel trapped. I went for a walk by the beach that evening and it was lovely and quiet, just as the sun was setting. I went on the cliff walk the following morning (found by taking the winding side road down to the beach and keeping right and going up the steps when you see them and right again at the top.) There's a bench overlooking the beach that once found, I didn't want to get up from. I love the sea anyway so I was in my element. Will definitely be recommending the location to family, friends, and anyone who mentions Kerry to me, and hope to visit again next year. Also worth mentioning there's a shop 2 minutes (Max) from the house, Bunyan's, with a lovely owner and surprisingly reasonable prices, given the area. I'd recommend the bacon in a heartbeat! Can't recommend this place enough, and I went in off-season!

I cannot praise Breda and her premises enough. She was extremely accommodating and her premises were spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. Breda was very good in accommodating a change to my booking due to my health needs and that kind of service for me is really hard to come by. I highly recommend Breda, Mike and her property and I will be back in future. A real find

Beautiful peaceful location but within walking distance of restaurants and bars, close to beach and cliff walk. Cottage was so clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

I found myself with three extra days in Ireland but without lodging. I found Brida's place available in Ballybunion. It is small, but perfect for one or two people. There is much to do in Ballybunion, so you probably won't be spending a lot of time indoors anyway. The house was very clean and a convenient lock box provided easy entry. There is dedicated parking! Brida provided instructions for the shower and stovetop. Tea, coffee, oats, milk, and chocolates were provided. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was so quiet that I slept late every day. The beach is just down the block, and a good restaurant and pub is two minutes walk away. Great value at short notice! I enjoyed my stay. Thank you Brida!
