Until January 22nd, free parking on 1500 green area parking spots on Friday afternoons and Saturdays from 10 in the morning. The week before Christmas, free parking in the green area from 10.
This year also sees the continuation of discounts for parking areas in the green zones. This totals nearly 1500 parking spaces, located in around fifty streets in the city center, which will be free during weekends for the holiday season: parking will indeed be free on Fridays from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Additionally, free parking in the green areas for the entire week leading up to Christmas: parking will be free on December 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
The green areas with free parking include streets near the city center, such as the roads around the Brunella area, the area around schools in the Casbeno zone, the streets of Biumo Inferiore and Belforte.

Private buses can drop people off at Piazza Beccaria, so that people can walk along Corso Matteotti and the streets of the historic center. Buses can then park at Piazzale Staffora.

The public transportation service in the city offers many valid alternatives for getting around.
PARK&BUS
At the De Gasperi (Stadio) parking lot, Carrefour on Viale Borri, Piazzale Roma in Schiranna, and Viale Belforte (former shoe factory/post office), there is an interchange service with lines E, P, and N. By parking your car for free, you can get an interchange ticket valid for 90 minutes for just 10 cents.
REACHING THE GIARDINI ESTENSI (ESTENSE GARDENS)
The Giardini Estensi and the Palazzo Comunale are located in the center of Varese and can be reached on foot from any point in the historic center. The main entrance is on Via Sacco, 5.
To reach the park:
Using public transportation: Line B towards Corridoni, Line E towards Avigno, Line N towards Calcinate del Pesce, Line Z towards Calcinate degli Orrigoni – stop at Sacco.
