Communication was great and they were very understanding in regard to our situation of visiting family and arriving late. So lovely to find a place where our dogs can be free within the garden. Totally private when we walked through the garden. We tried to be quiet due to getting back late with no issues. Lovely and friendly meeting their own dogs. We had everything we needed and were able to relax with our dogs and the door open which is something we struggle to find. Only 20 minutes from our family we were visiting and 15 minutes from Southbourne beach that we visited with the dogs, beautiful beach. We have already booked to visit again in the summer. So easy and flexible!! We all slept great and had more than enough towels and loved having shampoo, conditioner and body wash too. We did have to use the soap in the kitchen as the bathroom one was empty and couldn’t find a tea towel. But didn’t make a different to our stay. Can’t wait to return, thank you ☺️

Absolutely spotless accommodation. Had everything we needed and more. Bright and airy, spacious and modern. The icing on the cake was the private garden that comes with the property. We had some sunshine so it was lovely to have the doors open so the dogs could take advantage of a bit of sunbathing and we had no worries about them being out there. Candice was delightful, friendly and welcoming, a real breath of fresh air and a dog lover with three of her own so she was really keen to meet our three. If you’re looking for some here quiet, we’ll equipped and central then this is definitely highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed .

We had a fabulous stay we needed an Easter retreat to escape every day life and the lodge gave us just that it was perfect for us and our two dogs it had everything we needed ! Close to beaches and beautiful walks I would recommend a roast at the riverside inn and they are also v dog friendly too they even have their own dog menus !! Adrian and candice were lovely, super hosts we would love to return Thank you

We had a lovely time here, found everything as described and just like the photo’s. The basics were all there so we didn’t need to immediately rush out to the shops. Access was simple and well explained before arrival. On-street parking was plentiful and the nearest shop was a very short walk away. Adrian & Candice were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again if we were heading back to the area.
