Welcome to my home away from home. The cottage is in a beautiful country setting on a section of the Ottawa River called Chats Lake with paved road access 40 minutes from Ottawa. Wildlife is abundant and the sprawling property has everything you need for a fun filled getaway with the whole family. The stylish furnishings and amenities will have you feeling right at home. Unwind in the hot tub, enjoy a coffee in the cozy screened gazebo or watch the sunset over the west-facing river view. This home is a year round county cottage with modern amenities and a blend of cottage and modern finishes. The master bedroom is large and comfortable and includes a large closet, small desk for short term workspace and brand new ensuite bathroom. The two other bedrooms are small but cozy. One includes a set of double/full sized bunk beds suitable for 2 adults each or for children. The 3rd bedroom includes a double bed and also shares the space with the washer and dryer. There is plenty of seating for 8 guests. The kitchen is stocked with a surplus of place settings, plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans and meal prep equipment including a blender, toaster, drip coffee maker and kettle. There is also a full spice drawer with common spices for your convenience on top of the salt, pepper and olive oil basics.
