Our stay was incredible. We would stay at Jane and Jim’s little cottage 100 more times if we could. The location was beautiful and full of wildlife sounds that we loved to listen to every day and night from the deck. It’s located in an incredibly private and secure neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown. However, it was very easy to get to town or the beaches in a matter of 15-20 minutes. It’s located in the cloud forest, so after a hot day of excursions, it was great to go back to the BNB and cool off. Jane and her husband, were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed to truly relax. Additionally, Jane put together a great collection of recommendations for food, beaches, and fun that really enhanced our time on the Big Island. Overall, it was very clean, spacious for two people, had a well appointed kitchen, and full size washer and dryer. We felt right at home and totally recommend this BNB.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and could not have been more pleased. It was a beautiful home with peaceful surroundings. The home is surrounded by a beautiful garden, fruit trees and sheep that will walk up to the fence. We loved sitting outside on the deck and drinking coffee. Definitely would stay here again.

Jane was a wonderful host and we absolutely loved the property! Mornings out on the deck with coffee or doing stretches were a great and relaxing way to start the day. Our final night Jane's husband built a fire for us and it was incredible! We stargazed while next to this huge warm fire while listening to the nightlife chirping away and it was very serene. What a great experience! And it was very helpful that they had snorkeling equipment and beach chairs available for our use!

Jane was an incredibly responsive and sweet host. The cottage was even better than the pictures and made it hard to leave to enjoy the surrounding attractions. She has everything you need to enjoy the area in a booklet that lets you in on the local must-do’s. The cottage is spotlessly clean and comfortable. I’ve never slept so great staying in a foreign place in my life. The location is great. Only about 15 minutes out of town. The gated property makes you feel very secure. The lanai is massive with great views of the property. The check out was incredibly simple as well. When I’m back on the big island, I will be staying here again. I’d recommend this location for anybody.
