We had a lovely stay at Elisabeth’s place and felt very welcome. Everything was great and would highly recommend this place!

Elisabeth’s “recharging retreat” was a great place to come home to after a busy day of sightseeing. It’s impeccably neat and clean, and beautifully furnished. The queen size bed is very comfortable and the house was quiet throughout the night. I enjoyed walking around the peaceful neighborhood. The house is conveniently located a few blocks from the Bus 5, which goes downtown. I downloaded the transit app and was delighted to find that the senior fare is only $1. I walked to the Hiram Chittendon Locks and the Nordic museum in the Ballard neighborhood on my first full day, and felt safe walking back to the house in the dark. I’m an active person, so I didn’t mind the uphill walk back to the apartment and the bus. There are beautiful views of the water and sunsets over the Olympic Mountains everywhere in Elisabeth’s neighborhood. Elisabeth is very welcoming, and she graciously invited me to accompany her to a sunflower festival on the final day of my visit. I’d happily stay here again.

Our stay at Elisabeth's place was great for the few nights we were in Seattle. The space was exactly as described and so well equipped! We didn't get a chance to use the kitchen but I'm sure if we did, it was stocked with everything we would need to chef up a full meal. The space felt brand new with beautiful updated fixtures and finishes. The ceiling was indeed a bit low but my 6'4 partner was able to navigate it pretty well just a little care + self-awareness. Overall for the price, this was a lovely airbnb.

This Airbnb was amazing. The pictures were exactly as advertised. The good: great modern space, amazing overhead shower, beautiful neighborhood(especially in the summer), walkable to Ballard and Fremont, easy access to the bus system The bad: ceilings are kinda paper thin so it may be loud at times (this only bothered me one time), may need to walk for 30 mins one way to get to places like trader joes, the house is in a very hilly neighborhood so if you are coming with impaired mobility individuals then maybe this isn't the Airbnb for you.
