We love this home. It is a wonderful location, beautifully laid out and has lots of personal touches that make the home feel loved and cozy. Catherine and Andy were above and beyond kind and helpful to our family during our stay. They are the best!
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. Catherine was wonderful with all communication. The home is clean, thoughtfully laid out and cute labels made it easy to find anything one might need. We are looking forward to another stay in March!
Clean, comfortable and fun house, 5 stars. House, setting and convenience of location couldn’t be better. Right by Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. Recommend traveling Vermont Rt 100 to get there or on way out to really get a snapshot of scenic Vermont. The town of Waitsfield has its challenges. Literally dark and hard to navigate at night. Food options a mess highly recommend not even trying and instead cooking at home (there is a Shaw’s grocery store). There are a handful of restaurants, nothing stand out. Strange hours, hard to contact. Seemed like they locally struggle with being able to sustain all year and then deal w the surge of visitors during ski season. The house is awesome. Cook at home and enjoy the skiing and mountains with low expectations of local offerings and will be a great trip.
Catherine went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable - from allowing us to check-in early to going above and beyond when I forgot my coat and she mailed it to me the next day! The house was pristine, the linens and beds were amazingly comfortable. The location is so close to all that Waitsfield has to offer - skiing, restaurants, you name it. Could not recommend Catherine and Andy's house more!
We absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! The house was beautiful and comfortable. It was a huge plus that it was dog friendly. We had everything we needed to make dinner there using the grill. The porch is beautiful and the beds/bathrooms are great. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

I am a married mom of two boys. I have always had the travel bug. Apparently, I have passed that down to my kids. I live in Shelburne, Vermont where my husband and I run our own furniture retail store. My family and I very laid back travelers. We try to pack as light and practical as possible. We enjoy visiting new places, trying new things and meeting new people. We like to explore new places on our own versus going from place to place with a tour and being on someone else's schedule. I try to encourage my kids to try new foods. Sometimes that works and sometimes that doesn't. Good thing the international word for pizza is pizza. As a family we have enjoyed traveling to the Caribbean and the UK. We live about two hours away from Montreal, so we have made quick trips to the big city. In the winter we enjoy the downhill skiing Vermont offers. We own our own retail business which can make it hard to get away. So when we can get away we make it as relaxing and rewarding as possible. Life is short, make memories!
