we had a wonderful extended weekend on beautiful Balsam Lake. Our host responded quickly to questions and was very helpful and thoughtful. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay at the Lake property. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The Bunkie was a little treasure and helped to keep 2 generations happy!! would stay there again.

I found the owners to be extremely kind and thoughtful. They greeted us upon arrival. Made sure we were confortable and aware of everything we needed to know. Their place is really nice. The pictures don't don't do it justice. Beautiful dock with seats and many lounging areas. The top deck above their boat garage is excellent with an amaxing view. The bunkie is awesome. It has everything you could possible want. So multiple families can be apart and still together. Considering it's just one property it feels like there are so many places to go and relax, have fun, enjoy the fire, eat your food or soak in the jacuzzi. The area around the docks is not weedy so all your kids can have a great time swimming. I'll smack myself next year if this is place is fully booked. My wife joked that I should keep it a secret. But, the owners seemed so nice and sweet that they deserve to have this place fully booked. Hope to be able to book again next year.

This place has everything you could want for a cottage stay and the hosts have done a great job setting up the cottage for a great experience. The place was very clean and the bunkie is a such a bonus for large families or multiple families. Definitely booking again for next year.

This was a spontaneous decision to rent Melissa's cottage and far exceeded our expectations! The cottage is Beautiful and Immaculate and had everything you needed!! It is right on balsam lake and has amazing views of the lake from the dock and on top of the boathouse. There are lots of different entertainment areas that you can eat outdoors or sit and relax or play games on the lawn area. Also there is a bunkie with separate kitchen, bathroom , 2 bedrooms and family room that can easily accommodate multi generational families. Everything looked brand new from the bedding to towels and to the outdoor furniture and we loved the color of the teal/turquoise features! There was a storm during our stay but with the smart tvs and multiple board games , we were well entertained. We really enjoy our stay and definitely will be back. Melissa is a wonderful host and easy to communicate with and made us feel right at home!

This is a real cute cottage that makes really good use of the space. We spent the majority of our time lakeside which has lots of zones for entertaining. It was quiet and relaxing. Our daughter enjoyed the space and there is plenty of room for a couple of families. Melissa was great to deal with and was a fantastic host with lots of information and nice touches provided. We would definitely return and recommend.
