Glade Spring is conveniently located at exit 29 on I-81, making it just 15 minutes to Abingdon; 20 minutes to Damascus, and Marion; 30 minutes to Bristol's motor speedway and the casinos. This is a great location for exploring the Creeper Trail, the Salt Trail, the Appalachian Trail, Hungry Mother Park, Channels Preserve, and Grayson Highlands. Welcome to our charming historic home, a true gem nestled in the heart of Glade Spring. Dating back to 1868, this lovingly restored residence invites you to step back in time while enjoying all the modern comforts you crave. As you enter, you'll be greeted by the grandeur of a bygone era, with spacious rooms adorned with beautiful antiques and period details that speak to the rich history of the house. Whether you're lounging in the parlor, gathering in the formal dining room, or relaxing out on one of the three inviting porches, every inch of the home has character and charm. With ample space to accommodate up to 8 guests, this home is perfect for families, groups of friends, or anyone seeking a memorable getaway. Each of the bedrooms boasts comfortable furnishings and plush bedding, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploration. On the first floor you will find one large bedroom with brand new king size, memory foam mattress and a gorgeous ensuite bathroom. The remaining bedrooms are upstairs, one with 2 queen beds and the other with a full size bed. Upstairs you can also enjoy a library/game room and the second story, covered balcony. Downstairs there is a large, fully stocked kitchen, formal dining room with fireplace, living room and the additional hall bathroom. Take the party outdoors to the fire pit or enjoy a game of corn hole and a bocce ball (both provided in the dining room closet).
