I had a bad experience, because of Namaraj’s behavior. I got food poisoning on the first day. I got pretty sick with fever and felt very weak. Namaraj didn’t offer to see a doctor. Instead, he tried to force me to eat something I wasn’t comfortable eating at all. I had to refuse 5 times in a row. Then he said he looked for a bus for me, without asking If I even felt good enough to do the journey back (at least 7 hours by bus). He opened the door of my bedroom at 7am to see If I wanted to eat anything, waking me up although he could see through the “window” I was still sleeping. There was a total lack of privacy. I shortened my stay because I felt uncomfortable and unsafe around him. I almost didn’t eat anything of the whole stay and I refused to pay for the last day for food as I was leaving at 6am and he laughed nervously telling me it had to be included. We definitely don’t share the same values of respect or benevolence. Beside that, his parents are nice and beautiful surroundings

Staying with Ama and Bupa was hand down the highlight of my trip to Nepal🏔️🙏🏾The bus ride from Kathmandu to the village was also a bonus itself since i got to see other sceneries on the way to Khahare, Dhading and also interact with some of the locals.💖I got to spemd time with Namaraj’s nephew Sujan who showed me around the village. The place is very scenic, you’ll be surrounded by nature amd hear the river flow every second. Ama’s food was also very delicious and you’ll get plenty of tea🥰. I encourage everyone to keep an open mind while taking on this trip because it’s not ypur typical AirBnB. It’s simplicity at its finest ❤️❤️

I enjoyed my 4 day stay in Dada Gao very much. After some worries if I would make it there, I got help from Nams brother Gopal in Kathmandu buying the ticket for the local bus etc. I was picked up from the station in Kahare and after a short walk got a nice room for myself with clean facilities etc. and met this very friendly, funny und nice family. Due to the season there was not much farm work to do, but daily life is always there to experience ;-) just as the overwhelming beautiful, peaceful and relaxing scenery around the place! No pollution, no traffic, no... Nam not being there, Nams younger nephew Sujan was a great translator/guide for me to show me around, to help me understand and communicate with the family and the people there and to just have a fun time. The food was very good - lots of Dal Bhat, fresh milk, lassi, nice vegetables etc. I'm very glad that I did this trip to Dada Gao in addition to trekking, visiting Pokhara/Ktm etc.!

Wir hatten sehr schöne 3 Tage bei Nam‘s Familie! Das tägliche Baden im Fluss ist super und Nam‘s Mutter kocht sehr leckeres Dal Bhat. Alle Familienmitglieder waren sehr hilfsbereit und total liebenswert! Leider war Nam verreist und niemand in der Familie spricht oder versteht ausreichend Englisch, um Gespräche zu führen. Wir hätten so gerne mehr vom Leben vor Ort erfahren… Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! :-) P.S. Mückennetze für die Betten nicht vergessen.

Place is amazing. It's an experience you can't get anywhere else in Nepal. In my opinion, should be more airbnbs like this. But of course, depends on what you looking for. It's not a hotel, remember! But you can feel the real nepalian rural life, have meals with very nice and helpful family, walks with the Namarajs nephew (or Namaraj if he's at home) who is doing his best to show all hidden gems of the village. Namaraj helped me in getting to the bus station and finding proper bus, there is one a day to the village and journey from Kathmandu takes more than 6 hours. I really would like to come back there and spend more time, plan there at least 3 days. Thanks for everything, guys!
