The Day’s Eye is a warm and sunny loft with plenty of space for the whole family, or a stay with friends. Bathed in subtle tones of lavender, the loft is carefully decorated with modern, antique and local art. Offers 3 rooms, sleeps 6, has a fully-equipped kitchen with dining area, a cozy living room with Roku and surround sound, and a private seating area. Just a 10-minute walk from downtown, Keene! The loft is quaint, yet spacious. Each room has its own "look". The Master bedroom is set-up with a Queen size bed, TV with Roku and a walk-in closet. The medium-sized bedroom has a full size bed and a closet. The small bedroom has a trundle with two twin mattresses and a closet. All three rooms have dressers. The kitchen is open with a dining table set to fit 4 comfortably, a couch to lounge on, and 2 extra stools for seating. It carries everything needed to cook! The living room is set-up with a chase lounge, a couch and a loveseat for folks to gather comfortably. It also has a TV with Roku and surround sound, books and games for leisurely activities. The 3/4 bath has a sleek bowed-glass shower and is stocked with towels, hygiene products, an iron and ironing board. A private seating area is located just below the staircase (at the entrance) with a low-light lamp.

Perfect! The location and accommodations were perfect for my family’s long weekend away visiting my nephew at Keene. Ruth was very responsive and the apartment was homey and fit our needs perfectly. We’ll definitely be back!
Ruth and Jed’s place was just perfect for a weekend stay in Keene. It was easy walking distance to downtown. It was a rainy weekend, so we were also happy that the living room was a cozy space to spend an afternoon.
Everything was fantastic. The rental was very clean and cozy and perfect for our visit to Keene. Clear communication before arrival was helpful as well. Best part was the Blueberries for Sal and Corduroy books on the bookshelf in the LR. My sister and I were visiting my daughter at Keene and the books were the two books our mother read to us when we were little. We felt like she was there with us.
My wife and two adult kids went to Keane for a wedding and stayed with Ruth. The place was perfect. There was a very nice welcome basket with some coffee and a bottle of wine, the bathroom had toiletries and plenty of towels, the kitchen had all of the dishes, utensils, and other stuff we wanted, and the furnishings were nice and comfortable.
We really enjoyed staying at Ruth’s adorable apartment for our night in Keene. We are four college friends who came up for a KSC reunion, the space was cozy, well laid out, with plenty of room to spread out. It was nicely decorated with attention to detail, super clean, the beds weee comfortable, and we loved that it was just a 15 minute walking distance to town. A few dish towels would be helpful since there isn’t a dishwasher, but otherwise it was perfect!

The Day's Eye is located in a quiet neighborhood next to downtown, Keene. Near to the Keene Parks and Recreation Center and Elm Street Market. Just a 10-minute walk to all of the best local shops and eateries on Main St. Central to several nearby skiing mountains, including Granite Gorge and Pats Peak. And a 26-minute drive to Mount Monadnock.
Walking is the best way to get around, as everything is so close by! Uber is easily accessible as well. For further trips out of town, having a private, or rental, vehicle are the otherwise recommended options. There is plenty of free parking on residential streets, and parking meters downtown.
