The house was as described. Plenty of room for sleeping spaces, the kitchen was clean and nice appliances. The living space was a little small if you had the 6-8 people the house would sleep. One couch and a small breakfast table in the living room. The area was convenient to the University of Tennessee and downtown Knoxville, however the neighborhood leaves a little to be desired. The neighboring house was partially boarded up, bars in windows of other houses, and construction on others. It felt like an up and coming neighborhood that was being revitalized but just something to be aware of.

really great find last minute, but the hot water ran out extremely fast and the water pressure was super weak. some of the beds were hard as rocks while another felt like it was swallowing you it was so soft just nothing really in the middle. The host was very thorough in his messages but on the longer winded side, and I got a few of them throughout the short trip. The place was very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed and that was listed in the post.

Bottom line: DO NOT STAY HERE Rough neighborhood & the lock code wasn’t working. Locked out for 15 minutes while trying to get in touch with the host as it took a few calls to get a response. We returned about midnight and the new code didn't work. Had to call multiple times to get a response. 20 minutes of standing on a dark porch before getting a new code. One of the bathroom sinks didn't work, it was late & didn't report it until morning via call and a text to get it fixed since we were paying for 2 bathrooms. It took OVER FIVE HOURS for the host to respond. Then all he did was say, ‘he’d try to get it fixed. he never did. The shower valves are all backwards, the dishwasher top rack falls out, and there are no nightstands to put your things on. I filed a complaint with airbnb. The most frustrating thing about our stay. not enough space for details here, but, several hours of time and clearly, Airbnb support is not interested in doing the right thing for customers.

The stay itself was great - quiet neighborhood, easy to get around, and the home was clean and well-kept. Unfortunately, however, upon arriving we had still not received a code to enter the property, and waited an hour and a half for the local host to send it to us, after multiple calls and messages. We contacted the reps at Evolve, who were very helpful in finally getting us in touch with the host, and we were finally able to get in. Aside from that, the only other issue we had was with the showers in both bathrooms, which are backwards - turning cold gets hot, and vice-versa - so we had a little trouble there. A couple of us had some very cold showers before we made that discovery, but all was fine after that.

The house has the bedrooms and amenities listed (including a bonus board game left at the house), and plenty of space for 4 cars. However, check-in was problematic, we never received the code to enter the house and waited multiple hours trying to contact the host. On the last night of our stay, we had more lock issues and were stuck outside of the house again - thankfully the host was very responsive that time even though it was late.
