This beautiful serene four bedroom has the most magnificent views of the Bras D’or lakes.The unique design allows for guests to spread out as well as come together in the newly styled living room and dining area. The sun sets will have you wanting to stay forever. You just need to nestle yourself into the Adirondack chairs overlooking the meadow and lake. Perfect for families, golfers, ski enthusiasts and nature lovers to rest, recover and rejuvenate. We offer a property that has loads of living space as well as large bedrooms. Each room offers a view of the Bras d’Or lake and are very quiet as this is an architectural concrete house with in floor heating throughout. True comfort

Our stay at this beautiful home was a perfect experience. Myself and 6 others stayed here for one week while in town for hockey and the luxuries of home surpassed staying in a hotel. The view every day was spectacular! We were lucky enough to have an eagle perch in a tree right outside the living room window. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The appliances appeared to be brand new and the BBQ is a great option for cooking. The owners of the home live above the ground floor unit that guests stay in, but you will never hear them - this home is structurally sound. Laundry facilities were an added bonus, with laundry soap and dryer sheets. The beds and linens were very comfortable and there were many towels provided for all guests. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were also available in the shower as well. Anne, the host is easily reachable at any time of your stay and very helpful with suggestions with things to do or places to eat.
This was a great stay for my family of six! We arrived at Anne’s place for a weekend’s stay to ski at Ski Ben Eoin. It was about 10 minutes from the hill, and was an amazing place to stay for the weekend! The unit was clean and well-appointed, with everything we needed for our stay. There was plenty of room for all of us. The highlight for us was the beautiful view from the living room and two of the bedrooms. It was just a gorgeous panorama of the Bras D’or Lake and such a highlight waking up to that view. Thank for a great stay, Anne and John!
We took a trip to Cape Berton for the first time, and were super pleased with our Airbnb. Anne’s place is beautiful inside and out. Noise does not travel allowing children to sleep while we parents played cards at the kitchen table. The house is spacious, and has everything you need. The only down fall is there is no fire pit, however Anne is looking for an alternative for her guests. Lastly Anne is welcoming and quick to respond. We recommend :)

Big Pond has been a destination location for years. The public beach is a quick 5 minute drive, the Marina, Ben Eoin Ski Club and Golf course are all just 10 minutes away. Hiking trails abound as well.
