I️ stayed in Mark’s cottage for 4 months while on a co-op work term. During that time we experienced a hurricane, power outages and a snow storm. And throughout it all Mark was so incredibly helpful. He made sure we knew what to do and gave recommendations and checked in on us. He was an incredible host. The cottage itself was amazing from the beautiful view to cozy atmosphere I️ couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I️ am grateful to have stayed in his cottage. I️ would recommend it to anyone wanting to come visit the beautiful Cape Breton.

This cottage was very nice and comfortable, tastefully decorated, fully equipped, comfortable beds and lots of soft towels. The view of Bras d’Or Lake was amazing. We especially liked having a bedroom on three levels. Be sure to bring coffee pods with you for the Tassimo coffee maker. WiFi was fast and lots of comfortable seating in the living room for watching satellite TV. Our host responded to our messages immediately. We will definitely return.

Mark's place is a lovely, rustic A-frame with incredible Bras d'Or Lakes views. It has a cozy appeal, yet space enough for the family. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials to cook your own meals. The linens are fresh and beds comfy. Huge, flat yard to run and play, and a gorgeous front deck to enjoy your morning coffee. We were lucky enough to see deer and bald eagles. Communication and check-in/out was seamless. Satellite tv was appreciated during the rain. Couldn't have asked for more and would definitely stay again!
