Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed this gem! It was a great spot surrounded by beauty, plus it was very spacious, comfy and felt like home. Penny was very responsive, flexible and recommended some wonderful nearby hikes as well! Thanks a million!

Cape Breton Comfort! Once you get there you don’t want to leave. Although dated, this home was comfortable and accommodating for the eight people in our group. The outdoor deck was great and Marble Mountain Trail was fun.

Beautiful house on the Bras d'Or Lake. Good central location for visiting the Cabot Trail and surroundings. And if staying put is your thing, then this house is perfect. The house is a reader's dream, with books in every room. The views are great, and the property private and walkable. Penny was responsive and helpful.

Penny was seriously an amazing host! From time we booked until our stay was complete, Penny was quick to respond (within less than 1 hour) and so very helpful and accommodating. She even checked in with us AFTER we had checked out to ensure our flight was on time due weather issues in the area! The location and accommodations were just perfect for our large family. We would absolutely recommend this listing as an amazing home away from home. Penny many thanks from our family for a memorable stay😊
