The local representative Gabriela was very good, very responsive and did her utmost to help with anything we needed. The villa is in a very good location and lovely and quiet. However, it does need some maintenance and an extra bathroom! A few things weren’t working when we got there but Gabriela sorted it out very promptly. The photos are a little misleading and the villa, as I said, is in need of updating. Outdoor space particularly needs maintenance, a better BBQ and better seating arrangements. However the kitchen is really well equipped and the pool is fantastic. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Unusually for Portuguese villas, there were only two main bathrooms. Which for 7 people proved a bit annoying! The cleaner comes once a week, which is possibly not enough and the pool man only once too - which in 14 days isn’t much. However, I’m sure we could have asked (and paid) for more. It’s good value for the area - so I suspect you get what you pay for. We had a great time.

The villa is exceptional. classic, spacious, traditional with some moder amenities. The checkin was easy to get inside. There was no AC downstairs and we couldn't get it worING the whole time. we were told to 'change the batteries' but that didn't work. There were no refuse sacks and no bins outside. The place was musky and dead insects in every room on arrival which wasn't that pleasant The property itself I superb and loaction quiet and central for Quinta Do Lago and Vale Do Lobo. Finally we hadno maids service the whole time (7 days) which reall ly surprised us as with every other stay we get maids service in big villas. limited towels meant constabtly doing laundry. we would stay again but under a different management company.
