This house was perfect for the two of us and our small dog..It's neat and tidy..lovely..The bathroom and kitchen are both a really enjoyable spacious size. We visited Cannon hall farm which is only 10mins away....This is a must go-to place to vist....We drove over the moors .Toured around,took in the lovely scenery.. We walked the silkstone trail.. Lovely place to take walks..Lots of local history.. The two local pubs are only 100m away..ones a nice local bar,the other is a brilliant eatery.Fantastic food..Had a beautiful lunch there.. There's a great cafe/restaurant only a 10min walk away at the other end of the village..if you want breakfast or brunch. The main road is nearby but you can't really hear much. .we parked on the wide pavement right outside the house.. There's an asda shop and petrol station nearby ,which was good for some food items I wanted when I cooked a few meals .. Thankyou to the owners for providing a lovely cottage stay...We left smiling,happy and relaxed..

The Miners cottage is everything you could want for a trip to Yorkshire. The location is perfect for heading off to other locations but the place itself is worth exploring. Great restaurants and cafes are walking distance to the cottage and local walks are spectacular. The cottage itself was immaculate and felt like home almost instantly.

Such a lovely little cottage- perfect for my friends and me to get away from London and into nature! The house was so charming and cozy. Very easy to drive to, accessible to many different locations, and walking distance from an Asda for a quick shop run. Thanks Neal and Deborah for making our holiday feel so warm.

Well appointed spacious cottage with some lovely features. Myself and the pooch stayed for a few nights and visited Cannon Hall which was a beautiful day out. Location was perfect and cottage had everything you could need and I managed to park outside the cottage. I would stay again.

Lovely little cottage with convenient parking. The hosts were helpful but left us to it, which we liked. The road outside is quite busy with traffic and there are lots of noisy passers-by with boomboxes which led to poor sleep. Our stay was pleasant otherwise, picked out of convenience for an event nearby, albeit missing a few home comforts.
