Mimosa Cottage was constructed in the 1920's as a residence and has had a number of interesting occupants since then including a doctors surgery and an art gallery/coffee shop. This year the cottage was renovated to create a comfy place to stay while you are visiting Glen Innes. The cottage is located centrally to the Glen Innes CBD, within short walking distance to the main street cafes, clubs, pubs and shops. There is off street parking and a large sunny back yard. No smoking throughout. This year Mimosa Cottage was fully renovated inside with three bedrooms and two bathrooms being refurbished. A new kitchen has been installed as has a reverse cycle air conditioner. A grid connect solar system is on the roof assisting with the energy needs of the property. Each bedroom has a queen bed with luxury mattress topper & electric blanket. There are two separate bathrooms, one with washing machine. The living area is central to the house providing a comfortable place to relax. The verandah at the rear is private and a real sun trap during winter.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mimosa cottage. Location couldn’t have been better and such a gorgeous house. Very clean and great size for 6 people. Would absolutely come again.

We were all very impressed with Leonie’s tastefully restored cottage in Glen Innes. Very spacious and bright. Great location within walking distance of most of the town but very quiet overnight. The comfortable beds with quality bed linen and pillows made for a restful stay. All you need to self-cater with a supermarket nearby. Leonie’s communication was always very prompt. All in all highly recommended.
The house was clean, smelt lovely, had all the essentials, the beds were amazing and the location is perfect... Smeaton's bakery is a must visit. Will definitely be back.
You will have an amazing time at Mimosa Cottage. The surprises of a spacious interior, cozy bedrooms with electric blankets, and beautiful high-quality bedding and kitchenware will add to the delight of your getaway. Even during rainy weather, you can still enjoy the outdoor seating areas comfortably. And the convenience of being located near a delightful bakery and other shops definitely adds to the charm of the cottage. It seems like the attention to detail in every aspect of the cottage, from the bathrooms to the kitchen amenities, contributed to a truly homely and enjoyable experience. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us! We were absolutely delighted with the accommodation and can't wait to come back to stay again!

Conveniently located around the corner from Grey Street it is an easy walk to coffee shops, retail business's , pubs and clubs. The supermarket is an easy stroll, as is a couple of quality butcher shops.
Even though you will be located centrally to everything in the centre of Glen Innes our house is very private, with the rear verandah facing out to a large backyard on the north which is a real sun trap.
