Wow - we took a chance in finding a place that is dog-friendly at the last minute. Ishan's was open, and when we arrived, we knew right away we will be back. Very quiet, easy instructions for getting inside, and the house rules were very well explained prior to our visit. Well-placed to visit any of the Finger Lakes wineries/breweries/distilleries, and food!! We will be back!!

We recently stayed at Casa Ceylon in the Finger Lakes region of New York for the 2024 Solar Eclipse and had a wonderful time. The highlight of the property is undoubtedly the serene creek in the backyard, complete with mini waterfalls that provided a peaceful soundtrack throughout our stay. The lotus statues added a charming touch to the ambiance. The property offers a stunning view of Seneca Lake and is conveniently located within walking distance of the waterfront. The beds are on the softer side, which may not be to everyone's preference, but we found them comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. The towels and sheets provided were soft and of good quality. The host was extremely communicative and even provided complimentary coffee and a thoughtful goodie bag with treats for our two dogs and wine openers. Despite a few minor suggestions for improvement (kitchen utensils), our experience was fantastic, and we would gladly return for another visit!

Our stay at Ishan's cottage was great! He was very responsive, engaging and thoughtful in his communication and his house was clean, comfortable and well-stocked. The property is in a great location. We had a fantastic weekend!

Had a great time during our long weekend girl’s trip. The house had everything we needed (linens and towels included!) and was close to so many great wineries and breweries. The town of Watkins Glen is a short 10 minute drive. Ishan left us lovely gifts to make us feel welcome and our trip memorable. I would stay here again.
