Stay was great except for one night when there were what sounded like jack hammers being used under the house. I reached out to owner that morning and got immediate response that a pipe had burst and emergency repairs had to be done. Based on her timely and detailed description of what was going on I understood it to be a situation beyond her control. She was apologetic and I was thankful for her kind words and responsiveness. There was a communication issue in the weeks leading up to our booking. The situation changed with the number and arrival date of some of our group and I was trying to make sure all of this would still be okay. I even had multiple conversations with Airbnb personnel. I never did get a response to this issue, but I am not at all certain this was due to owner because otherwise she was exceptionally responsive. Maybe a glitch in the system?
All in all this was a wonderful place to stay. The location was safe and right in the middle of a neighborhood with family homes. Great pllaces to grab some food and groceries. Looks exactly like the pictures. Very colorful, new looking furniture. I would definitly rent again. Very convenient. Beds were comfortable. Was moving my daughter into college and had so much stuff to carry in and out for a few days. It was such an emotional time for me and most of it was a blur. So it was so nice to come back to a nice place and relax. (and cry!) I did have an issue with check in. Came very late and the front door would not open. Things happen! Kirk called me in seconds of posting a question online. So prompt! I was really impressed with that. We FaceTimed and worked it out. They did have to come the next day to fix the lock and Kirk was extremly con the communicative. I would definitly rent again! Thank you!
